The Metro

It was a cold night in metro city. The lights went out, it started to rain, and cars were beeping non-stop. Becky, a young beautiful girl with black short flowing hair, shivered in the cold rain.

Her buggy clothes became wet and smelly. Rude people started to throw their rotten tomatoes at her, she fell down to the ground and her brown eyes started to fill with tears as people started to feel awfully bad, they stopped throwing rotten tomatoes at her and walked away with shame on their faces.

Becky stopped crying and to her surprise two people (a man and a woman) were running towards her and called up to her:

“Becky we thought we lost you!”

Becky was confused, she didn’t know those people but they looked quite familiar.

The people pulled Becky in for a hug,

“Who are you guys” Becky screamed as she pulled herself out of the hug.

The woman started to speak up:

“Becky you are our daughter, a few years back we went to the fun fair but you slipedout of my hands and your father and I lost you”

Then Becky realized that those two people were her parents. The two parents put Becky in the car drove home. Once they got there Becky couldn’t believe her eyes- their house was a mansion, it had six floors and the inside had a huge chandelier and beautiful comfy couches.

The parents took Becky upstairs to a kids room.

Then it hit her, this was the room she used to sleep in as a child. The room was filled with stuffed toys and the walls were covered in pink and blue décor. This really was her home.

“Is this real?” she questioned herself “is this really my house!”

Becky hopped with joy, she finally had a home and a family but after that day things took a wild turn: her parents stopped loving her and lost interest in giving her food and care.

Becky gave up, she dashed out of the house since then Becky always hid in the shadows and reminded herself that she could never be loved.

This is a lovely and fun to read. However, may we know what made the parents stop loving Becky? In all it is a beautiful story. Keep it up.
